- Vintage Egg Shaped Gift Box / Candy Box, Paper Mache Easter Egg Candy Box, Decorative Box, Chicken Family with Rooster, Hen and Yellow Baby Chicks, Seasonal Decor, Spring & Easter Decor, Gifts for Children, Easter Bunny Treats Box, Holiday Collectibles
- Vintage: 1940's - 1950's
- Details: Such cute paper mache Easter Egg candy box!! This one looks to be an older one, however, it is unmarked, but we can still see some of the tell-tales signs of an older piece. For example, we know older paper mache eggs had decorated edges, and this one has a white strip of "rickrack" shaped paper. Also, the design used looks like a very old illustration, plus it has lots of folds, not smooth like the newer ones. But we are not experts, please review all pictures and make your own determination. This container opens into two halves, same illustration on both sides. Made specifically for the Easter holiday, these typically feature illustrations of spring, florals, rabbits, ducks, or chicks, anything related to spring rebirth and renewal. This one is empty, fill it with treats or decorate your home with it to bring a nostalgic, old world look to your Easter holiday and spring decor. As expected with these older paper items, there are some condition issues, please see below for details.
- Material: Paper Mache / Cardboard
- Dimensions: Approx. 7.0 inches Long x 4.5 inches Wide (at widest point). Approx. 3.0 inches Deep (each half)
- Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. The decorated white outer trim is torn, stained and missing in small sections. It doesn't close quite right, there is a small piece of tape inside. We feel all are acceptable due to age/use/wear. Outside decoration is in very good condition, well preserved, (any white marks are simply lighting reflections). Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
